photoshop elements 7

Question

I purchased elements 7 yrs ago.  It is still available for download on adobe.  I obtained my serial number from my purchases screen.  I kept getting an invalid serial number error message so i contacted adobe.  After getting numerous links to download from adobe and still getting an invalid message I contacted adobe again today.  3 hour chat wait time followed by a 45 minutes period where the tech logged onto my computer only to be told there was nothing he could do.  I contacted chat again and they told me to post  my problem on this forum for expert help.  I thought I was chatting with the experts but apparently not.  Is there someone out there who can help me with this problem.  I would be very appreciative.  Thanks

I have the exact same problem. I have my order number and serial numbers for Photoshop Elements 7 and Adobe Premier Elements 7. My original purchase was via download. I log in the same way but my serial numbers don't work.

I had to replace my hard drive and now need to reinstall Elements but, the serial numbers fail on the last digit each time.

Please advise next steps to issue resolution.
