PhotoShop Elements 9 could not fill up borders of panoramaphoto automatically (not enough RAM)

After a panorama photo was created from 6 photos in PhotoShop Elements 9,  I checked a message to automatically fill up the borders of the panorama image . Then a message appeared:

"Could not fill up because there is not enough memory (RAM)"
In my Windows 10 PC there is 16 Gb installed. 
Under Edit-Prefences -Performance- Speed- Memory Usage of PSE 9,
I saw that the Memory Slider was fully set to the right side and 
showed a maximum possible RAM of 3255 Mb.
I relaunched PSE 9 and made the same panoramaphoto.
Again "Could not fill up because there is not enough memory (RAM)".

Then I let do the same job , same photos byPhotoShop Elements 2020.
This program came with a Script Alert "Some photos cannot be aligned".
Result: No Panoramaphoto.

PSE 9 has the best credentials. How can I free up more memory for PSE9?
Any idea?

Since pse 9 is a 32 bit program it can only use a maximum of around 3.2 gb of ram, where as a

64 bit program like pse 2020 can use just about all the ram your computer has.

 

In pse 2020 did you try some of the other options besides Auto Panorama?

    The restricted use of memory by PSE9 is clear to me now.

    Meanwhile I have received a private message in the Adobe Support Community community
    to be able to send an e-mail directly to the Adobe Customer Care Team ( I'm doing so)
    concerning the issue I have in Pse 2020 ("Script Alert "Some photos cannot be aligned" )
