Photoshop Elements Advice

Just purchased & downloaded adobe photoshop elements.

Want to go through about 700 photos from recent trip to Africa,

delete some, simple minor editing on others, to show to friends.

Want to do this as fast as possible.

72 year OLD, technologically illiterate retired builder.

Have an suggestions ?

    I would suggest copying all 700 into the organizer

    Adjust the thumbnail slider to a size you can see clearly

    Then use the right arrow key to skip through them

    Add one star to the best ones you wish to share (press #1)

    When finished you can filter for all the one star photos and select all (Ctrl+A)

    Then apply instant fix or an auto adjustment.

    1. DO NOT destroy your originals. big mistake. make a copy of the library before you start.

    2. Do training! Its not like Word where you can muddle through.

    3. Practice for a few days at least, maybe weeks, with a few specific photos. Do them again and again until you get tgecresults you want. Examine them critically and print them if you have a printer. Only when you’re happy, move on to the bulk of the files.
