Photoshop Elements blurry on new MacBook Pro
I have been using Photoshop Elements for digital painting for years, and have the 2008 version. I recently got a new 2017 MacBook Pro, and successfully synced everything from my old mac (a 2012 MacBook Air) to the new one. The new Mac has retina display, which my old one didn't have. My version of Photoshop doesn't seem to be compatible with the retina display - everything (including text, toolbars, new windows, and my art) is blurry and pixelated. I figured I would just get a newer version of Photoshop Elements - I'm overdue anyways - but going through other forums with this problem, it sounds like newer versions of Photoshop suffer from the same blurriness.
Is there a solution for this that Adobe supports? I've never been disappointed with Photoshop but now I find myself quite frustrated. I would like to avoid downloading a de-retinizer, which would affect my entire computer, and I want to continue using Photoshop, but I'm close to switching product at this point.
I look forward to hearing from anyone with a similar problem or a solution to this.
Thanks all.
