Photoshop Elements don’t work on Tahoe 26

I upgraded my MacBook to Tahoe 26, and my Photoshop Elements 2020 stopped working.  What to do?

Correct answer ines777

Sounds to me like it is a system setting on your computer blocking the connectivity of the program.

Thank you. You’ve been very helpful. For some strange reason, it suddenly began to work. Maybe the two systems needed time to recognise each other? A mystery!

Hi. I had exactly the same problem but with Elements 2022 on Tahoe. I purchased Elements 2026 but that wont work either. I'm currently in touch with Adobe Support but so far they haven't been able to sort it either despite remotely taking over my Mac for a couple of hours.

You can probably forget about using pse2020.

No, Photoshop Elements 2020 does not work on macOS Tahoe, as reported by users on Adobe Community. The software, designed for older macOS versions like Catalina (macOS 10.15) and earlier, is not compatible with the newer features and system architecture of macOS Tahoe. Adobe's system requirements for Photoshop Elements 2020 indicate support for macOS 10.15 (Catalina), but not subsequent versions.

I now bought Photoshop Elements 2025.  It does not work either.  It says: "

The application "Adobe

Photoshop Elements Editor" cannot open the specified document or URL."

(when I try to edit the photo kept in Apple photos in PE 2025).  Would you know what to do, please?
