Photoshop Elements Editor 14 - Application Error (0xc0150004)

Hi, I'm getting totally frustrated now, I have been using Photoshop Elements 14 for many months now and all of a sudden when I tried to open either Photo Editior or Organiser I received the following message:

PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe - Application Error

The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0150004). Click OK to close the application.

In desperation I've tried un-installing and re-installing - this made no difference.

I'm running Windows 10 Home, 64 Bit OS

Any ideas please?

you have the worst customer support i have ever seen.  it's so terribly frustrating dealing with Adobe.  ON the phone for over one hour now and no one answers and looking for support here and not one from Adobe to be seen.  Last product i will buy from Adobe.
