Photoshop Elements Editor not opening

I'm also having the same issue. I just downloaded PSE 24 on my MacBook Air (running Sonoma 14.5) and the application opens to what I'd call a welcome screen. There's a link to the Organizer and a link to the Photo Editor. The Organizer link does seem to work - opens up the Organizer space, which I don't need. When I click on the Photo Editor, it appears to be starting but then presents the above mentioned notice about launching it from the App menu, rather than within the Application Package (or some such language.) So I closed it, went to Finder/Applications and clicked on the Icon for PSE24 - got the same welcome screen, which presented the same two links and clicking on the Photo Editor link generated the same message. In other words, it's in a loop sort of. Makes the App pretty useless...

Greetings, I am stuck on the same issue, was your issue resolved? If so how did you get to the photo editor portion? Who or how can I contact someone to get help on this subject?

Please do not launch this application from within this Application Package. Instead, please launch Adobe Photoshop Elements 2024 from your Applications folder. 

I keep getting this error code when I try to open photo editor. I just downloaded photoshop elements 2024 on my new mac mini but cannot get it to open. I can open organizer but when I go to open the editor it gives me this code. Help Please!
