Photoshop Elements not recognizing my Epson R3000 photo printer

My 2019 Photoshop Elements no longer recognizes my Epson 3000 photo printer. It has always worked in the past. I can still print images directly from my Windows desktop, but it is not a satisfactory way to print out artwork or photos. Adobe tech support was of little help telling me to uninstall my printer and reinstall the software. I am not sure if I can find the CD the printer came with. I so need to get this fixed. The message I get is: "The saved printer information is not compatible with this version of Photoshop Elements, or the saved printer is no longer available. You will need to check the printer settings before printint."

I have tried everything to get this to work. Adobe couldn't get it to work either. The technician recommended uninstalling the printer software and reinstalling it. I am not sure this will work either. Any suggestions?

Is the problem printing from the Organizer or the Editor or both?  Normally, this kind of problem can be fixed in the Editor by resetting the preferences file. Go to Edit>Preferences>General tab and click the Reset Preferences on next launch button.

You can (and should) download and install the latest printer driver from Epson.  Here is a link

The process for resetting the preferences in the Organizer is a little more complicated. Let us know if the above fixes the problem for you.
