Photoshop Elements Organizer 2026 People Panel bugs

In the organizer People panel on the Names side, there are triangles noting new faces are found and when one clicks, there is a section to confirm those faces.  Sometimes Confirm/Not This person works as expected but I see the following erroneous behaviors:

  1. Click on confirm or not this person but the entry remains.
  2. The overlay check/not symbols do not display and the circle seems dead.
  3. The circle image is drawn incorrectly with half of the circle on top and half on the bottom as though the entry is mis-framed.
  4. Blank spaces appear in the array of circles.

It is difficult to go through the entries when they are not functioning correctly.

Is there a workaround or fix for this?

thanks

You have asked for a workaround.  I would suggest that you work in the UnNamed People tab rather than the Named People tab.  In my experience it is far more efficient and accurate than confirming names of People already identified.

The Not this Person command has been problematic for quite a while.  In reality, the problem seems to be that it just takes a long time to work.  IOW, if you click on, for example, the Prohibition sign, nothing seems to happen.  But if you have the patience to wait, sometimes several minutes, the command works as one expects.

    Hi Philip,

Can you help with a screenshot the of the issues mentioned by you in Points 2, 3 and 4?

    Thanks

Here you go. For item 2, the screen grab does not show the cursor but I put a yellow dab showing the face with the cursor over it.  Note that controls do not appear and the item does not select when clicked.

If I click to a different person and then come back to this one, the same spot looks like this:

Finally, after doing some more edits elsewhere and coming back to the person’s faces to confirm, the display looks like this:
