Photoshop Elements pictures Cloud

Is it possible with Phtotoshop Elements to import images from a cloud into the Organizer without downloading them, but only when editing them and saving them back to the cloud after editing? Or is this only possible with Lightroom?

Thank you

As Michel indicates, in Elements 2023 (and 2022) for some users, there is a public beta use of Cloud services.  This feature allows users to upload/download to and from an Adobe Creative Cloud account.  Elements comes with a small (2GB, I believe) free account which can be upgraded for a monthly fee to a 1TB account.  But, as Michel states, the full features of the Organizer are not available for the files stored in the Cloud.  So, I would not consider it anything like the solution that Lightroom provides in terms of catalog synching.  The Elements Cloud Beta also has some online editing features that currently include creating slideshows and collages.

Since the Elements Cloud is only a Beta feature, I would not consider it for a long term solution. However, if you want to try it out, you can download a free trial here.  (I'm not sure whether the Beta is limited to the United States, but I believe it is limited to English language installations.)

As far as I know, the organizer can't directly reference files stored on "a cloud". That means that what is possible now is to reference files synced to a Cloud solution like Dropbow, OneDrive, Google drive. The organizer works with the synced copy on your drive just like any file in your computer, and your hosting/syncing service takes care of the syncing.

The new PSE 2023 offers a Cloud Companion to manage interactions with Cloud services, but it's not available outside US;  so I have not been able to test it.

Anyway, I don't see how you could share a catalog on the Cloud between several users. For that, I believe the current solution would be to use the Lightroom CC subscription. I don't know how easy it would be to use that LR version together with PSE, I am a bit skeptical.

Another expectation about using the Cloud is to avoid storing the catalog and photo library in your computer drives, especially with too small SSD drives. The current Cloud solutions via syncing don't work for this as far as I know.
