Photoshop Elements project shuts down when trying to print

I use Photoshop Elements 2021 V19.0 and since a while I have problems with printing. I have an Epson Xp-15000 and at first suddenly Elements stopped giving me the option to print A3 format. When I tried to update the printer drivers printing all together broke. So what have I done:

Reinstalled the printer

Reinstalled Elements

Reset the preference file

Delete printer and try to print (then at least I get the printing screen) when I retry printing after reinstalling the printer my project closes immediately again.

Does anyone have any other solutions?
