Photoshop elements trial version [Will Print Studio Pro work with the Elements 2018 Trial version?]

Will Print Studio Pro work with the Elements 2018 Trial version?  I'm using Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit,  I've read the answers on this forum on installing it (two different ways) and it won't install.  1) When going to edit>preferences>plug-ins>additional plug-ins>computer>local disk C>program files (x86)>Canon>print studio pro the required plug-in file does not appear.  2) When trying to install directly through Start>search for print studio pro plug-in install, I find the right file, but when I go to install it, it says "a version of Adobe photoshop supported by print studio pro is not installed."

But the trial version is installed and working.  So back to my original question: Will Print Studio Pro work with the Elements 2018 Trial version?
