photoshop elements [Unable to open Nikon D500 Raw files]
photoshop elements will not read raw file for nikon D500 asked why and they said there is no update for it

Camera Raw plug-in and Adobe application compatibility
The Nikon D500 was first supported in Photoshop Elements 14 with the Camera Raw 9.5 update installed. Elements 15 supports that camera out of the box.
Which version of Elements are you running? I'm guessing version 13 or earlier.
