Photoshop elements upgrade

I have photoshop elements 10 on PC. If I upgrade to 2020, will it handle the many psd files I already have?

Also does it remove 10, or will I have two versions on my PC

PSEv.20 should open your PSD files.

Each version of the software is independent. You will have PSEV10 & 20 on your machine.

Unless you are pressed for disk space, I would retain the older version for a while .
