Photoshop Organizer 2021

HI I have loaded Photoshop Elements 2021, I have been a elements user for a number of years now. I have a new Apple mac air. the problem I have is when I download photos onto organiser I find that scrolling the photos simply does not happen or when it does it is very slow and alos the spining ball comes up.  Elements is working prefectly without scrooling issues. this is driving me mad. any solution you may have I would be very grateful. thasnk you
