Is there anyway I can uninstall or clear my organizer and start from square one?  There are numerous photos and videos I do not want in my organizer.

    Just start a new catalog:

    File >> Manage Catalogs

Click the New button, choose a name and save. Import the free MP3 music for slideshow if required. When the empty catalog opens you are ready to start over with importing.

    Use:

File >> Get Photos & Videos >> From Files & Folders

Before starting anything new, be sure to understand that:

    - the organizer is bundled with the editor and you can't uninstall it.

    - You choose to use or not the organizer.

    - The organizer is a set of tools to manage and organize your media build around catalogs. Catalogs are just like catalog booklets containing properties of your photo files and links to their real locations on your computer drive(s).

    - Catalog don't contain any media file, only links to their location and data like exif, keywords, captions, notes, ratings...

    - You decide which media file should be 'imported', that is referenced, indexed in a catalog. You can add and remove the media from the catalog.

    - You can have several catalogs even if having only one is the best choice.

    - You can delete a catalog without deleting anything from the real media files on your drive. The only think to keep in mind is that you must have another catalog selected (even empty) when you use the menu File >> manage catalogs and decide to delete the catalog.
