Question

Photoshop won't open photos from an iPhone

I just started having this problem after years of Importing photos from my iPhone 13 into Photoshop Elements 2022.  What is now heppening is that when I try to Import photos from my iPhone, it shows all photos taken before 7/1/2024.  However, all photos taken on 7/1/2024, or more recently, do not appear.  I have duplicated a photo, but still did not appear.  I called Apple Support and checked out my Camera settings and said everything is correct.  I am trying to Import my photos as JPEG, which I have always done.  I'm an old dude and definitely not a computer guru, but this is driving me nuts!

I have responded in your other duplicate thread and am locking this one.  If you are unable to respond by email as mentioned in the other thread, this may be a temporary problem.  (Or perhaps it is an issue caused by @jane-e's action.)

I've branched your post from a thread from 2019 in the Photoshop and moved it to the Photoshop Elements forum for you.

Please give us your OS and version.

Also note that iPhones save in HEIC. You can switch to JPEG, but there are reasons to keep HEIC as the default. See details from Apple support:
