Phtoshop Elements 12 started giving Error 1302 on starting

All of a sudden PSE 12 started giving me the error 1302: No such element Line 29: ->var docRef=app.activeDocument

I have remove and re install the software to no avail. Using Windows 10 and everything is up to date
