Picture Package Troubleshoot

I created a new layout in picture package; saved it; selected and added photos and Photoshop Elements 12 shut down. I have a Mac OS X El Capitan, v 10.11.6. A problem report was generated automatically to go to Apple that specifically noted the problem was with Adobe Photoshop Elements Editor. I have created well over a hundred picture packages but this is the first time I've had this problem. All my software is updated. I tried restarting my computer (often helps, but not this time). Any suggestions, solutions? Thanks!

    Hi,

    Please try resetting application preferences as mentioned at Preference file locations for Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements

    Restart application and see, it should work fine.
