PNG files wont open

PNG files won't open in Photoshop Elements 2025 Premier. I don't know what the issue is. I can save images as PNG but they will not open in PS Elements 2025. I'm running windows 11. Other programs on my PC will open them but not PS Elements.

Are you trying to open the file in Premiere Elements or Photoshop Elements?

Is there any error message when trying to open png files into Photoshop Elements 2025?

Your using File>Open from within the Photoshop Elements 2025 Editor?
