Premiere Elements 14

My copy of Elements started giving me some problems so I decided to reinstall the program from my disc.

Elements would not allow a reinstall so I called Tech Support and they advised me to reinstall from the Adobe web-site.

After downloading and installing, the program continues to crash.

Whenever I try to do anything; ie., create a movie title, output to a disc copy, etc it crashes with the error message:

     Premiere Elements 14 has encountered a problem and will close

Any advice?
