Prevent automatic import of .mp3 files by Elements Organiser

I am currently using Elements v2021 and I am being plagued with Organiser automatically importing my .mp3 music files into the catalogue. How can I prevent this?Dennis

The files are being automatically imported because they are in a Watched Folder. Where are your .mp3 files stored on your computer? If you go to File>Watch Folders, you can manage the folders that are watched. I have all of my photos in one parent folder and all of my videos in another. My music is on a separate drive.

If you want to remove from view all of the music files that have already been imported into the catalog, you can go to the View>Media Types menu and uncheck the entry for audio (or use the keyboard shortcut toggle Ctrl+3):
