Print too dark

I replaced my Epson R800 with the Epson SC P400. The R800 prints were great but printer was getting old and starting to struggle. The SC P400  prints everything much darker. Everything else is the same - computer monitor etc. Any ideas?

    Hi,

    Since you have changed the printer, you are suggested to reset your application preferences and then try printing.

    To do this, follow these steps:

    1. Close Elements.

    2. Relaunch Elements  Editor and keep Ctrl + Alt + Shift pressed while it launches.

    3. Dialog asking to clear the preferences would show. Click Yes to it.

    4. When application launches, see if it works fine.

    Also, please keep your  printer drivers up-to-date from printer's official site.

    I tried Ctrl + Alt + Shift while it launched but it did not seem to work but I reset preferences from within Elements once it started but it made no difference.

    I did download the iPhone app from Epson and printed the same photograph from there and it printed ok.
