Problem activating Elements Video editor when Image editor works fine
Hi - please can someone help with this? I went to use the Adobe Elements program that I paid for with my computer purchase a couple of years ago. I have been using the image editing part regularly , but I hadn’t used the video editing. When I tried to launch the video editor, it asked for the license number (which is weird because it’s all part of the same program) and then rejected my license number because – I think – Adobe has decided not to allow ‘new’ activations of old programs (see link below). Which makes no sense as I HAD activated it and have been using it regularly. I'm guessing that Adobe is treating the image and video editing components of the program as separate software - but that hardly seems fair as they are under one 'Elements' umbrella - one download, one licence number etc. Is there a workaround? Thanks for any help.
