problem in elements 2024 trying to down size my images to 600 dpi

@malcolmm9091408, all of the questions posed by @Stephen Marsh are relevent to Photoshop Elements as well. So we need you to explain exactly what the problem is.

I don't use Elements, however, the only problem mentioned so far is DPI rather than PPI. Can you explain your issue? In Photoshop this would be handled under the Image > Image Size menu. PPI can be set either with resampling/interpolation on or off. You mentioned downsizing, so I can only assume that the original resolution is higher than 600 PPI. What are the pixel dimensions, forgetting pixels per inch for now. What is the point of the resize and the intended use of the images after resizing?
