Problem PSE14 Catalog

Suddenly I see only 85 objects  in my catalog instead of over 5.000 !?. I have a backup but using that makes no difference - it takes time and seems to work but nymber of objects still the same (in fact it whent down to 29 ). Trying to create a new catalog and using the backup - seems to work but only a few object (only the media objects ). - Trying to import from all my maps - working but it says that over 4.000 already exsists in the catalog. 

It looks that it is there but I can't see them.

Any ideas ? - perhaps delete the product do a new installation and then use the backup - a little afraid to do that -:)

    Woke up in the middle of the night and start thinking of my problem  and suddenly realised the answer ! - I was working some time ago with videos and then altered the show parameter to show only videos !. A very simple answer - probably there are som people laughing out there  :-)  - Bye
