Problem with importing tags and key words - Elements 12 to Elements 2020

I have purchased the update to Elements 12 and downloaded Elements 2020. I have followed the instructions to import all my media but the tags and key words don't appear to be there - and there are hundreds of them! What am I doing wrong?

Hi,

 

Did you do the Backup of the catalog on earlier version and restored in the version?

 

Please try this out: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop-elements/kb/backup-restore-move-catalog-photoshop.html

 

This will bring all your catalog information along with media.
