Problems accessing printer

I have being printing on a Canon  pro 200 through PSE 2023. 

Now it wont print, telling me that it cannot open the printer.

The problem appears to be with PSE 2023 because I can print from the laptop theough other print options seperate to PSE 2023.  Any help would be great appreicated

Correct answer Greg_S.

Try resetting the preferences file. Go to the Edit>Preferences>General tab and click the Reset Preferences on next launch button.  This usually fixes random printer problems.

    If connected via wifi- plug a cable into the printer.

    Try updating or rolling back the printer driver.
