Problems with codecs in Windows 7 and Premiere Elements 2018

I have purchased the latest version of Adobe Photshop Extended CS6 and installed it on my Windows 7 PC.

Has been working very well for years.

That's why I do not want a subscription to CC.

Yesterday I wanted to try Adobe Premiere Elements 2018 on my PC but now it appears that this program shows the videos but unfortunately it can not show any sound in Windows 7.

If I upgrade my PC to Windows 10, I can no longer use the Photoshop program.

I think Adobe does not do justice to those users who already have an expensive purchased program.

Affinityphoto may allow us to stop using Adobe.

Your premiere elements question would be better answered in the the premiere elements forum:

    Premiere Elements

Also, photoshop cs6 works just fine on windows 10.

Sorry for your frustration.  The sound issue in Premiere Elements 2018 is only with AVCHD files that contain Dolby AC-3 audio.   With Windows 8 and 10 providing AC-3 support.  With Microsoft winding down Windows 7, Adobe chose not to license Dolby audio in version 2018 and forward.

AVCHD and the other common formats work well with Premiere Elements 2018 on Windows 10 computers.
