Problems with Photoshop Elements 14 editor with Windows 10

I have been using Adobe Photoshop Elements very successfully for many years and I am currently using Elements 14. However the editor has stopped working and comes up with the error message 'Could not initialize Photoshop Elements due to scratch disks being full'. Please can you advise. I have not been able to find any assistance from Adobe on this issue and find their web site support next to useless.

    Try to open the Editor

Go to Edit>Preferences>Performance. Use the arrow button (slider) to increase memory usage.

    Does this fix it?
