Problems with PS 14 - will not launch

My PS 14 keeps crashing during the launch, with a dialogue box that it encountered a problem, and windows will notify me when a solution is found - which never happens. I have reinstalled it again, have tried to reset the preferences, but to no avail. What else can I do?
