Problems with RAW files from Canon EOS R&

I recently bought a Canon EOS R7. When I try to open up a RAW file taken by that camera, Elements says it cannot open up this type of document. I do not have this issue with RAW files taken with my Canon EOS RP or Canon 7D Mark II. How do I fix this?

What version of Elements are you using?

Your camera requires Adobe Camera Raw (ACR) version 14.4.  If you have a recent version of Elements there is a workaround that will allow Elements to process your raw files.  See this article and follow the instructions precisely.  The camera raw plug-in file that you need to copy is named Camera Raw.8bi.
