Question

Program locks up a.) when type tool selected, b) when photomerge is selected.

I use win-10 operating system and PS-14. Back when Win-10 was introduced I experienced program lockup when type tool was selected. A service tech repaired this issue by taking over my computer. All worked fine then Win-10 major update was downloaded and now I cannot use type tool or photomerge. Each time I attempt to the program locks up.

    In Editor, go to Edit > Preferences.

    Now click on Reset Preferences on next launch and try re-launch Editor.

    Try using type tool or Photomerge now and let us know if you face any issue.
