Proigra Elements 2020 crashes every time I try to load pictures to my catalog

I have had several crashes   since I started counting i am up to fifteen.    I can't even load one picture  to work on the program freezes then just shuts down.

I had a tech  take over my computer and even he gave up.  can't get anyone else to call me and I have sent numberous messages to ask for help or refund.  I have left phone number and still nothing  even tried using mwifes computer and it crashed hers too.  I have older versions and have light room installed as well no issues with my older version.  have used thes products for years now I am ready to  try something else.
