Promblems with Photoshop Elements 10

I have Photoshop Elements 10 on my computer.  I downloaded a free version of Photoshop 15 and now my Photoshop Elements 10 is no longer working.  What can I do to restore it?

    Windows or Mac?  What version?

    Please describe how you are opening it and what happens.

    If you try to open it by double clicking an image, it will probably automatically open in version 15 unless you tell your operating system to use version 10 as default.

    If Windows, can you open it from the start menu or the .exe file in Program Files?
