PS 2024 is crashing while resizing image

How can a standard working feature in a previous version crash and burn in a new release?

Any ways, if Image > Resize > Image size with a change in proportions is important to you - don't get PS 2024 until this is fixed.

I have this issue also, many, many times, when resizing images photoshop 24, 25.5.1, crashes with MacBook Pro 16" M1, running OS 14.4, Sonoma. This is unbelievably bad, and frustrating.

Are you synching your Organizer catalog to the Elements Web?

No. I don't use Organizer at all.

I only use PS for editing. And resizing was the first and only thing I have tried to do with PS 2024

You haven't given us much information to help you.  The feature is working perfectly fine for me and I think you are the first person to have reported the problem.

What OS are you using?

What kind of file are you resizing, and what options are you using to resize?

Did the crash create any error messages?

Did you get an Adobe Crash Reporter pop up and did you send the report to Adobe?

Users can always download a free 30 day trial  of the program to see if they run into any problems.

I did send in a report the first time the problem occured.

I am using Windows 11 with all updates installed when available.

My hardware is a Surface Pro 9 with a second monitor.

I am in the process of resizing a variety of jpeg files to standardize them as images on a blog.

The resizing does not crash every time. But often enough, and unpredictably enough, that I have re-installed PS 2021 which has done all the same resizing with no issues.
