PS Elements 10 crash with Mac High Sierra

I upgraded to Mac High Sierra this week. I can open files and work on them in PSE10, but the program crashes (closes immediately and doesn't hang) when I try to save. I've cleared the application preferences, as suggested in other posts, but the issue persists. A jpeg is saved, but it when I attempt to open it I get the message:

The file “Test.jpg” could not be opened because it is empty.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Can't help I'm afraid, but I can report that after upgrading to High Sierra I can't even open the PSE10 installer app.

I have exactly the same problem. Cannot save any file type. Program crashes out (closes with no error message) and the save file is empty.

Thanks for responding. A shame that nobody representing Adobe did!

I installed the trial version of PSE18, and the problem disappeared. I'm not sure if I'm going to install the paid-for version. I've had no similar issues with Adobe LR (v6), nor with GIMP, but I have done some research and this does appear to be a recognised issue.
