PS Elements 12, Maps are not loading

The maps under tab Places are missing now!

What has happened and how can I get them back?

The problem does not exist with PSE15, the current PSE2018 and the expected PSE2019 available beginning of October if history repeats itself.

Don't expect Adobe to issue upgrades for older Elements versions. Don't expect either that Google maintain their old APIs.
