PS Elements 14 and .NEF files

mikew26973886  wrote I was of the understanding that future updates of PSE 14 would address the NEF file issue and failure to open / recognize these file types from the Nikon D7100.  I have checked my software and updates are current, but still no update to recognize and work with NEF files.  Am I missing something here, or is this still the "workaround"of downloading one of several other programs to allow PSE 14 to open a NEF file?  Quite honestly, I have been very frustrated trying to work with this Adobe product and my camera.  If I have to go to some other location and download some other file to get NEF "compatible" with PSE 14, then I think I may just go with another (non Adobe) product as support seems to be an issue of late.  Hopefully you have an "Adobe" solution and not some other fix.

There should be no problem to open the raw files of the D7100 with PSE14.
