PS Elements 15 not opening imported Mac photo

I have a IBM pc and a photo sent from a I Phone ,once I click on photo file get a error window saying - could not complete request because not right document.

    What is the file extension?

    The file is EML.

    Hi,

    Photoshop Elements does not support EML file format.
