PS Elements 2024 - create simple word document

Been using PS Elements 2015 for nearly a decade.
Upgraded to 2024.  Everything I try wants me to open a photo first or put text in a circle.  : (

How do I make a simple word chart, perhaps even with bullet points?

I think things are made more difficult when a person trys to do everything with one app / program.   I need a 3D model of a turtle holding his left hand up?   I used DAZ 3D.   I need some nice looking 3D text?   I  use Aurora 3D logo maker.  I need a nice looking paragraph or two, or 7 lines of text- each with it's own bullett point?   Powerpoint- even the free version can do it (Google presentation can do it as well- and it's free).

I wouldn't put "all my eggs in one basket"   have multiple tools / programs available.

From the free version of Outlook.  I had lots of text to do up and went with PowerPoint-  I did edit the graphics in PSE- but the final version was done in outlook.

Perhaps, for occasional texting tasks, PSE might suffise.

• Create a new document (File > New > Blank File...)

• Choose suitable "Document Type" and "Size" options:

• Activate the Type tool and drag over your document to define the desired text area.

In this "paragraph" mode your text will be automatically wrapped and aligned.

• To add a simple bullet just copy this one →   •    and paste into your text:

My recommendation:  Do not bother trying to do this in PSE.   Paragraph text handling and creating bullet points can be rather difficult for any user of PS and it's lacking in many aspects.

Adobe express- which I recommend.  Find a template,  and start with that- no reason to reinvent the wheel.

Below is a template from Adobe Express- the arrows point to the bullets.
