PS Elements Issue with installing

I had issues with PS Elements 12.  I uninstalled the program and re-installed.  When I go to use I get a message, "some of the application components are missing from the application directory.  Please reinstall the application."  I did that and still get the same message.  Any suggestions?

    Did you install from the official download link?

    Download Photoshop Elements 14, 13, 12, 11, 10, 9, 8, and 7

    I tried both, installing from my disks and the official download link.
