PS elements not auto colouring red jacket from BW photo

Tried auto colour BW photo and jacket gets coloured Blue knowing that it was  red in real life.

tried other programmes colourise Sg  etc  still jacket comes out blue any body have any idea how

to get PS to amend programme, tried to manually colour it red does not look good

Better if programme could do it automatically   thank you for any responce  dj51

So, you can use the Manual mode of the Colorize photo tool to get a red color to the jacket.  Use the eye-dropper color picker to get a shade of red from somewhere on the face. Then in Expert Mode of the Photoshop Editor, use the Color Replacement tool to modify the hue and saturation.  There are some excellent video tutorials by 99jon that should help you with this task.  I'll try to find a link for you, but maybe John will come by to tell you himself.
