PS Elements update issue - v. 18.0 (20200120.m.139570)

On a Mac (Catalina), version 18.0 (20200120.m.139570)

Get a dialog to update.

Tell it to update, it goes away (nothing seems to happen). When. quit, I get this dialog...

Then, I dismiss it, but PSE won't quit. Endless loop. Have to force quit. Can you help me? Thanks
