PSE 10.0 Cannot sign in from Desktop shortcut

Hello,

I have been using PSE 10.0 on a laptop with Windows 10.0, for a few years. I set up PSE with a short cut on Desktop. For some inexplicable reason I can no longer sign in from the PSE home page (where you can select Organize/Edit). However, if I go to ADOBE.com, I can sign in there.

Anyone know if this is a common bug (Online Chat said they can't help me)?

    There is no signing required in PSE10  and I don't see what has this got to do with <adobe.com>?  Adobe.com is the main website of Adobe Corporation but you don't need to login to that site to use PSE10.

    If you can launch PSE10 from the desktop then your links have changed.  I suggest create a new link on the desktop or edit the current one by right-clicking on the desktop icon and choosing properties.  The must point to:

    "C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Elements 12 Organizer\Photoshop Elements 10.0.exe"
