PSE 10 stopped working recently

In the editor, most of the menu items are dimmed and do not show text. In the organizer, text is squished and illegible or elongated to the side. Does anyone have the same problem recently? Many thanks.

    I realized that there was an earlier post answered (by Dhananjay), which resolved the issue. (many thanks)

    The only thing I would like to add (for basic users like me) is that I had difficulties in going to the screen described in the answer. The easiest way to get there seems to be go to the search box and type "view your update history" then go to "Update history". Then you can view the update history, which showed that version 1703 for x64-based Systems is called KB4034674. In the "Uninstall updates" menu, I found that code in the menu (as it no longer identifies the update as version 1703) and uninstalled it. After reboot, PSE seems to be working again.
