PSE 12 Crashing EVERYTIME I use it

I have PSE 12 with Topaz filters; every single time I use it lately it crashes!! It won't "save as" photos, it doesn't keep any of the changes I've made with my filters, ie: change to bw or use de-noise, etc.  What the heck is wrong and how can I fix it???
