PSE 13 and Printer Issues - Again

I recently uninstalled my Epson R2000 and re-installed it via USB cable because the WiFi connection seemed to have bogged it down to a crawl.  Since then, I cannot print from PSE 13 - keep getting a message that says: The saved printer information is not compatible with this version of Photoshop Elements, or the saved printer is no longer available.I know this has been discussed before and the solution has been to install the 13.1 Upgrade.  I already have that upgrade.  Anyone else having this issue?

Thank you,

Jackie

    Hi,

Did you clear preferences before installing PSE13.1 update as mentioned in the thread Printer errors with Photoshop Elements 13

If not, requesting you to please reset preferences once and see if it helps.

    Thanks,

Anwesha my 13.1 update was installed long ago and I have no recollection whether or not the preferences were reset.  I have done that now and that, plus installing the printer driver updates seems to have solved the problem.  Thank you for your response.  I appreicate your help.

I don't know what was discussed before and I don't have this problem.

    However, suggest that:

    1. You go on the Epson web site and download the latest driver for this unit

    2. If the problem persists, disconnect the power cord from the unit and disconnect the USB cable, wait 30 seconds, then plug in the USB and the power cable again.

I had not downloaded the updated driver file after my new re-install.  I have done that now. That, plus resetting the preferences seems to have solved the issue.  Yes, by the way, I had tried disconnecting the power cord and USB cable and that alone did not help.

Thank you for your response.  Greatly appreciated.
