PSE 14 not opening on Catalina

After the Apple update to Mac with Catalina, my PSE 14 won't open.  My old PSE 12 still works.  I've tried downloading PSE 14 to re-install, but while PSE 14 is 64 bit the installer application is 32 bit so it won't install.  Has anyone had this problem with PSE 14 and been able to resolve it?

I had already upgraded to Catalina. So...I upgraded to PSE 2020. All is working fine now.

Hi,

 

Older versions of Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements contain some 32bit components which were not designed to work on macOS 10.15 Catalina. Older Elements versions were released prior to the Catalina OS release, which was released in October 2019.

Adobe recommends that customers using older versions of Photoshop Elements or Premiere Elements (versions 2019 or earlier) DO NOT upgrade to macOS 10.15 Catalina.

If you have installed the Elements products and have not upgraded to macOS 10.15 Catalina, the Elements products will function normally.
