PSE 15 ~ Text tool not working ~ Need help

I use PSE 15, have used several prior versions of PSE without issue for using the Text Tool. However, I am unable to in 15.  I get an error message that says:  "Could not complete your request because something prevented the text engine from being initialized.  Click here for trouble shooting solutions"

I click on the blue 'click' hyperlink, nothing happens.  Do I have a faulty version?  Is there a setting I need to change?  I cannot figure this out after multiple tries.

I have tried going to Adobe contact us for support, but the available options seem to have a problem for days and won't let me connect.
